Position Title: Solution Engineer Utility
Location: Melbourne, Australia
Reports to: Technical Director

Job Description

• Develop a comprehensive technical understanding of Clenergy’s utility-scale solar mounting solutions.
• Provide technical support and expertise for large-scale solar projects, including ground-mount and utility-specific product solutions.
• Collaborate closely with customers to offer customized solutions, addressing project-specific requirements and ensuring technical compliance.
• Act as a project manager for utility-scale installations, coordinating with HQ Operations, Engineering, and Solutions teams.
• Serve as a technical advisor for sales teams, supporting proposal development and bid preparations.
• Monitor and analyze local industry trends, regulatory changes, and competitor activities in the utility-scale sector.
• Represent Clenergy at trade shows, industry forums, and client meetings, focusing on utility-scale opportunities.
• Gather and document customer feedback for product improvements and utility-market alignment.

Position Requirements

• Strong interest in renewable energy with 2+ years of experience in utility-scale or large-scale solar project environments.
• Bachelor of Engineering in Mechanical, Structural, or related fields is highly desirable.
• Proven ability to interpret engineering drawings and perform basic structural or mechanical calculations.
• Excellent project management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines independently.
• Strong interpersonal skills, technical acumen, and proficiency with industry-standard software tools.
• Self-driven and motivated to achieve key performance indicators (KPIs) with minimal supervision.
