Position Title: Sales Administrator

Location: Melbourne, Australia
Reports to: Sales General Manager

General Description:

The Sales Administrator will be responsible for managing and optimizing key sales processes, driving performance improvements, and supporting strategic decision-making within the sales team. This role involves sales process analysis, contract management, performance monitoring, and sales forecasting. You will work closely with the Sales General Manager and collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure operational efficiency and effective customer satisfaction.

Primary Targets and Job Responsibilities:

  1. Sales Contract Management:
    • Review and update sales contracts to ensure they reflect current business terms and legal compliance.
    • Collaborate with legal and sales teams to streamline contract workflows.
  2. L2C (Lead to Cash) Sales Process Monitoring and Improvement:
    • Analyze and monitor the full sales process from lead generation to customer conversion, identifying bottlenecks and proposing improvements.
    • Track and report on key metrics such as:
      • Lead to Customer Conversion
      • Opportunity to Order Conversion
      • Delivery Performance
  3. Rolling Sales Focus and Inventory Planning:
    • Collaborate with the sales and operations teams to forecast sales trends and align inventory levels accordingly.
    • Ensure inventory planning supports customer demand and minimizes stockouts or overstock situations.
  4. Support Sales General Manager on Sales and Customer Performance:
    • Provide data-driven insights on customer satisfaction and sales staff performance.
    • Assist in the development of performance improvement plans and strategic initiatives.
  5. Process Improvement and Efficiency:
    • Continuously seek opportunities to improve sales operations processes.
    • Implement tools and solutions that enhance sales team productivity and operational efficiency.

Main Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Sales, or a related field.
  • 2-3 years of experience in sales operations, sales coordination, or a similar role.
  • Strong understanding of sales processes, contract management, and data analysis.
  • Proficiency with CRM systems and sales performance tracking tools.
  • Excellent communication, analytical, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively across multiple departments and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Experience in process improvement or project management is a plus.
