Reporting to: ESS director
Position Summary
As a Solution Engineer, you will be working on solar innovations, complex system design and liaising market needs to both Shenzhen and Australian R&D team. Understanding the Australian standard and solar technology is important as it will be part of your day-to-day activities. Your expertise will shape our success, ensuring we meet market demands, navigate regulations, and stay ahead of industry trends.
Primary Responsibilities
Australian Standard: Get involved in the Australian standard workshop and committee.
Relationship management: Develop and build key relationship with major stakeholders in the Australian renewable market
Collaboration: Work closely with our product team locally and RnD team to create and optimize groundbreaking power electronics and energy storage system solutions
Strategic Insights: Develop new products by staying informed about macro policies, regulations, industry standards, and technology trends related to power electronics and energy storage systems.
Client interaction: Work closely with Clenergy’s key stakeholders to solve complex solar system design.
Job Requirements
Experience: Over 5 years of experience in renowned photovoltaic inverters or energy storage enterprises (bonus points for lithium battery industry experience), you’re ready to lead.
Understanding of AS/NZS 3000, AS/NZS 5033, AS/NZS 4777 and AS/NZS 5139.
Demonstrated ability to handle responsibilities before and after the sale, ensuring customer satisfaction throughout the entire process. Proven track record in presales activities, such as understanding customer needs, preparing proposals, and presenting solutions.
Industry Vision: Understand the solar/new energy industry’s dynamics and trends. Knowledge of Virtual Power Plants (VPPs) is highly desirable.
Effective Communication: Strong verbal and written communication abilities to effectively convey technical information to both technical and non-technical stakeholders. Your communication skills are top-notch. Bonus if you can communicate in Chinese.
Excellent organizational skills and proficiency in documenting processes, creating reports, and maintaining clear records.
