Clenergy’s ST MAC Ground Mount System Powers 1.4MW Solar Farm in the UK

SPALDING, 16 September 2024—Clenergy is proud to announce that its PV-ezRack® SolarTerrace MAC (ST MAC) mounting solution has been selected for a 1.4MW solar project in the UK. This selection highlights the growing recognition of the ST MAC system’s superior design and performance, particularly for ground-mount solar installations.

The Project at a Glance
Featuring Canadian Solar panels, Sungrow inverters and Clenergy’s ST MAC mounting solution, the project is set to generate an estimated 1,476,000kWh of clean energy annually. It will offset 309 tonnes of CO2 and supply over 20% of the energy demand for the site owned by Moulton Bulb, a grower and supplier of onions, shallots and garlic. This aligns with Clenergy’s growing commitment to sustainability and renewable energy solutions in the UK.

    ST MAC incorporates the innovative Magnesium-Aluminum-Zinc (MAC) coated steel, which is known for its superior durability and corrosion resistance. Its corrosion resistance is five to ten times greater than conventional hot-dip galvanized steel, making it ideal for long-lasting, large-scale solar installations. The MAC coating also offers a superior aesthetic finish and self-healing functionality for exposed cut edges.

    The system’s efficient and simple design, with fewer brackets and fasteners, allows for quick installation using basic tools.

    Dual-insurance module fastening methods, including bolt-nut fixing and module clamps, ensure that the solar modules are securely attached, providing exceptional wind resistance, even in typhoon-prone areas
  • Strong Terrain Adaptability
    With multiple adjustment options, the well-thought-out design features enable ST MAC to easily adapt to varying terrain slopes.
