SolarTerrace II-A - Melbourne Airport
The new solar farm, scheduled to begin operation in 2021, will supply renewable energy to all four of Melbourne Airport’s passenger terminals. This ground mount project is currently the largest of its kind in Australia. The airport’s solar farm is set to generate 17GW hours of electricity per year, equal to nearly 15% of the airport’s annual electricity consumption.
